Locations

We have scouted out many different locations that are of Urban/Dance theme and locations that are typically seen in Urban/Dance music videos.

WATERLOO LEAKE STREET- Also known as the 'Banksy Tunnel'. The walls are decorated with graffiti, this is a legal zone for graffiti so we could film our lead singer graffitiing the walls. Here we will shoot Gabi lip syncing and also shoot her dancing.

MILE END SKATEPARK- We originally saw this location in the music video 'Heart Skips A Beat' by Olly Murs ft Rizzle Kicks and thought that this would be a perfect place for the dance scene were using in our music video.

BARKING TUNNEL- When we was searching online for location we came across this tunnel, we then instantly recognised it from Dr Who, we thought this maybe would be a good location for a music video. However after finding the location and looking at how far it would be to get there and how we would carry equipment there we have decided to keep this location in mind however not use it as it would be hard to get to with all the cameras and equipment.

DRAMA HUT - We're going to be filming the scene where Gabi has powder paint on her face in a drama hut at school. We choose to film this scene here as it's a got a black backdrop, and it will give us the studio effect that we want to achieve.
We also want to film the scene where there is just a bunch of people partying, we thought this would be the best location for this is this room has the capability of being lit much like a club would.

WALKING AROUND LONDON-SOUTHBANK, TRANSPORT (OVERGROUND, UNDERGROUND, BUSES)- We decided to have shots of Gabi walking around London, as deep house which is the genre of our song was a development of garage music which was originated in London, so we thought that these iconic places would be the most suitable. We also want shots of gabi messing about in London as this seems to be the lifestyle of those that listen to dance music, always being out and having fun and having a almost you only live once attitude to life, this is what we also believe the target audience to be like which will furthermore make our music video appeal to the target audience.

BRICK LANE-In brick lane we plan to shoot Gabi walking around brick lane for some of the jump cuts. Also we feel it matches the genre that we doing. Furthermore, it adds continuity to the music video with the colour matching and graffiti.
