DJ Fresh ft. Rita Ora - Hot Right Now
The video for Hot Right Now is a video myself and my group love for numerous reasons. The use of colour and props to create an urban/garage feel is definitely inspiring. Every shot is filled with an abundance of bright and vibrant colours. In the video Rita is seen walking around different locations, one of which includes a graffiti covered wall, this is something we want to draw on in our music video. She is also surrounded by a group of hipster dancers, this is also something we want to incorporate in our video. However, in this video the dancers tend to freestyle, whereas in our video we want to come up with a routine but include snippets of free styling. We like the clothes Rita wears, it's very unique and has a strong 80s feel which is further amplified by the boom box she carries around with her in the video. For our video we're going to use urban, edgy clothing like mom-jeans and crop tops. We would also like to have a boom box in our video but are unsure as to how we would precure one. Rita Ora's star image is also very similar to the star image of our artist. Iconic imagery such as the peroxide hair and bright red lipstick will be used in our video. Unlike this video, our video will have a more diverse range of locations, each of which will be used to create different emotions and feelings. A few examples of our locations are Leake Street and The London Eye. Finally I believe this is a fantastic music video which captures the heart of the song, and me and my team hope to create something as exceptional as this.
